Police Officer Job Application
Application Deadline: Friday, September 5, 2025, at 2:00 p.m.
Salary: $91,136 – $126,051
Minimum Requirements:
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
- Valid driver’s license
- At least 21 years old but not yet 35 years of age at time of exam
- Bachelor’s degree within 6 months of hire OR 2 years sworn law enforcement experience AND 60 college credit hours
- POWER test card dated within 6 months from the date of exam (after April 4, 2025)
Required Documentation due by the application deadline:
- Complete and confirmed online application (available after download)
- Consent and release agreement form (available after download)
- Copy of valid driver’s license
- Copy of proof of citizenship or authorization to work in the U.S. – May include: U.S. county/state issued birth record, U.S. passport, naturalization papers, valid permanent resident card, or employment authorization card
- Due by date of exam: copy of valid POWER test card dated no earlier than April 4, 2025.
Testing Information:
Candidates must attend the mandatory orientation and written examination on Saturday, October 4, 2025. You must arrive no later than 8:30 a.m. with a photo ID (driver’s license, state ID, military ID) and copy of valid POWER test card to sign in. Late arrivals will not be permitted. Additional details will be provided to eligible candidates approximately one week prior to the exam date.
