Entry-Level Police Officer Job Application
Application Deadline: Friday, November 14, 2025, at 4:00 p.m.
Minimum Requirements:
- $20 Application Fee (non-refundable)
- U.S. citizenship
- No felony convictions
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid driver’s license
- At least 20 years of age at time of examination
- Must be 21 years of age at time of appointment
- Must be under 35 years of age at time of employment, unless otherwise exempt by Statute
- Must possess a current and valid POWER test card as of Friday, Friday, November 14, 2025 (valid if issued 05/14/2025 – 11/14/2025)
Required documentation due by Friday, November 14, 2025, at 2 p.m.:
- Complete and confirmed online application
- Consent and Release Form – must be signed and dated by applicants
- Copy of high school diploma – college diploma or transcripts are NOT accepted in lieu
- Copy of valid driver’s license
- Copy of birth record as proof of citizenship – can include: U.S. County/State birth certificate, U.S. Passport, or Naturalization papers
- Copy of a current and valid POWER test card no earlier than 5/14/2025
Virtual Testing Information:
Your exam will be offered electronically, and you will take the exam in your own home. Testing session(s) will be offered to eligible candidates and will be proctored virtually Session(s) will be offered during business hours during the week of December 15, 2025. No weekend or evening sessions will be available – it is your responsibility to ensure you have the flexibility to test during these times.
Candidates who require ADA accommodation must contact IOS Recruitment at least two weeks prior to the written exam date. All portions of the testing process are mandatory. Failure to attend and successfully complete any portion of the process will result in elimination from employment consideration.
