*These are the minimum threshold requirements for the CO FIREfighter Testing Consortium. Individual departments may hold more stringent requirements. In order to be considered for each agency you must comply with their minimum standards. For example, some agencies require EMT-B and HazMat certifications, however, the timing of the requirement may differ. Please see the department(s) job description for specific information on individual department requirements.

The mandatory written exam has been postponed until further notice. The decision was made in order to limit exposure to and spread of COVID-19 (coronavirus), promoting the health and safety of the applicants, test administrators, and departmental staff attending the exam. IOS Recruitment will notify all applicants when a new test date has been set and provide additional details about the examination at that time.
